Marcelo A. Savi

Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPE), Brazil

Marcelo A. Savi is Full Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPE) and Coordinator of the Center for Nonlinear Mechanics. His research focuses on nonlinear dynamics, chaos, smart materials and structures, and control of complex systems, with applications spanning engineering, biomechanics, and energy systems. He has authored over 550 scientific publications and supervised more than 150 students. He is a CNPq Research Fellow (Level 1A) and has received several distinctions, including the FAPERJ Award for Outstanding Researcher in Engineering.

Stefano Lenci

Università Politecnica delle Marche, Italy

Stefano Lenci is Full Professor of Structural Engineering at the Università Politecnica delle Marche in Ancona, Italy. His research focuses on nonlinear dynamics, structural vibrations, dynamic integrity, stability, and the safety and reliability of mechanical and structural systems. He has made extensive contributions to the analysis of nonlinear phenomena in engineering structures through theoretical, numerical, and experimental approaches.
